Finland Data - A quick dive into births

Another chronic of Twitter's propagandists fallacies. And of course, another powerful signal for confidence.

So, as we were blowing an early whistle on the Swedish disaster, after verifying in depth our figures, we of course faced the anonymous whistle-blower, working undercover as a pharma-shill, “The Real Pusher”.

We engaged the specimen, who blocked us post debate with him, as an anonymouse designed for the occasion, thanks to Twitter’s excellent “sandrahewett12”’s1 ability to find cute and healthy looking mice.

Our new conspiracy theory, that The Real Pusher was in fact a whistle-blower working for us, instantly took more substance 🤔…

He started one of these rants he has a secret for (see the famous “Don” moment in his deleted space against McCairn2), and told us where to look for the next alert signal, Finland.

Finland’s statistics are available on their national website3.

There are a lot of various angles on births. We will use here the table “12dl -- Monthly live births, 1900-2022”4. Births by years are represented in the following chart.

We can use a similar script (here on GitHub) than the one we used on the Swedish disaster, to compute the z-score for each year.

Results are the following:

The situation was - obviously - already quite terrible prior to 2020. It hasn’t gone better, falling just below statistical significance 2 years on 3, and showing a persistent decline in birth rates compared to the 2010-2019 average.

A Z-score of -1.81 is quite significant, and suggests that the 2022 data point is far from what would be expected based on the data from 2010-2019.

Z-score to the mean 2020-2022 is at -1.43. In any case, nowhere close from the announced 15% “shiny reassuring rise” we could have expected reading the undercover whistle-blower “thereal_truther”.
